event web page design & creation

[ designed to match your brand ]

a polished event landing page, or a full event website, gives attendees everything they need to know and carries them seamlessly into registration. built, tested and integrated before anyone even knows they have questions.

why bother

the built-in template is why people email you instead of registering

every question your event site fails to answer becomes an email to your team. the hotel cut-off date, whether lunch is included, whether the workshop costs extra, what time it ends on the last day so they can book a flight. a good event page is a support-cost decision as much as a design one.

a hero that says what, where and when

event name, dates, city, venue and a register button visible without scrolling. it sounds obvious. it is missing from a startling number of event sites.

an agenda people can actually read

by day, by track, with times, rooms and speakers attached. filterable when the program is big enough to need it, and readable on a phone in a hallway, which is where it is really used.

speakers with faces

headshots, bios and the sessions they are running, linked both directions. this is the page attendees send to their manager to justify the trip, so it earns its space.

venue, hotel and travel

the room block link, the cut-off date, the airport, parking, and how far the hotel actually is from the venue. this section alone removes a meaningful share of your inbound email.

sponsors and exhibitors

tiered placement that reflects what people paid for, with logos that are the same size as the ones they were promised, plus a prospectus link for the ones still deciding.

one clear path into registration

a register button that is present on every screen, points at the right path, and does not lose the visitor in a handoff that looks like a different company built it.

how we build it

in your platform when it can, in ours when it cannot

we are not precious about this. the right answer is whichever one leaves you with fewer systems to keep in sync.

  • your registration platform's site builder, when it can carry the design
  • wdye studio, when you need a real site and an attendee app without an enterprise contract
  • either way, wired to your registration and tested on a phone before launch
  • page titles, descriptions and social preview images set properly, so the link looks right when someone shares it

and if your event needs an attendee app, live bulletins, polls or QR badge scanning on top of the website, that is what studio is for.

An event website built in WDYE Studio, showing the agenda, speaker cards and sponsor placement.

you might be wondering …

questions we get asked

do you build the site in our registration platform or somewhere else?

either. most registration platforms include a website builder, and when yours is capable enough we use it, because one system means one set of logins and no sync problems. when the builder cannot do what the event needs, we build in wdye studio instead and connect it to your registration.

can you match our brand?

yes. send the logo files, the colors, the fonts and the brand guide if you have one. if you do not have one, we will work from whatever exists and keep it consistent with your main website so attendees do not wonder whether they are in the right place.

who updates it once it is live?

whoever you want. we can hand it over with instructions, or we can keep making the changes for you, which is what most clients pick during the busy weeks when the agenda is still moving.

will it work on a phone?

yes, and we check it on one rather than assuming. more than half your traffic will be mobile, and the agenda is the page people open while standing in a hallway looking for their next session.

let us build the page

send us the event and whatever brand assets you have. we will show you what the site would look like before you commit to anything.
